I’m applying to Temple University. The school only interviews for select programs, which are mainly the medical-related ones (which are the most competitive). I’m applying to be an IT major, so as far as I know Temple doesn’t usually interview these applicants. Is there any way that I can ask to have an interview? I’m assuming it would be through admissions but I’m not sure…what would I specifically ask?

“so as far as I know Temple doesn’t usually interview these applicants” Because Temple doesn’t WANT to interview non-select program applicants. They feel your application is sufficient.

“Is there any way that I can ask to have an interview?” No – you’re not a special case. Do you understand that about 90% of schools DON’T require interviews?

Thank you for your help.
