I was put on the wait list at Johns Hopkins, Brown, and at UPENN. What can I do to get off of the wait list and into the school? I was also offered admission to Georgetown through their early action program. How should I go about doing this?
I would like to know more about this as well.
Usually they allow you to write a supplement. Do it! Make it clear specifically WHY you want to attend that specific university. When they go to the waitlist (if they go to the waitlist), they will be looking for students who have expressed a strong desire to attend.
In all honesty, don’t get your hopes up, though. Make plans to attend one of the schools that accepted you.
