I’ve done a few practice tests and I consistently miss about five questions each time! It’s sooooo frustrating! I think I’ve mastered all the concepts generally, I mean its rare that I have trouble doing the actual problem or have trouble with time but for some reason I jsut miss some each time no matter how hard I try!

How can I fix this?? Also, are conics ever on the Math Section because the Barrons book provides like a lot of review on it but I’ve never really seen it much on the tests…so just curious

Thanks!

I’m assuming that you have already done a lot of practice test, so you should know be familiar with the test. If not, just drill through the math test, and if so work on time management. If you finish the test a little bit quicker you can use the extra time to go over problems you have marked.

I’m speaking from personal experience; I usually miss the same amount of problems, and it is because I choose to cheat myself out of time.

Ugh, I’m having the same problem.
It’s pretty annoying, since my math education has been stellar in some areas (Calc and Trig) and completely nonexistent in others (Geometry? what?)

I’m trying to learn probability right now. PROBABILITY. Sigh

Study the ones you got wrong. Sounds like you may be consistently getting the same concepts incorrect. If you study those, then you will improve. I always seem to start out fantastic, but then I drop off as they get more difficult. So, I will be studying the more difficult questions.

For me, the key is going really fast through the easy questions so I have a fair amount of time to spend on the last 7-10 harder questions.
