How to get the equivalent of high school US Credits from a French School transcript?

Hi everyone. I’ve graduated from a Moroccan school high school, it has pretty much the same as the French school system.
Grades are over /20 and the GPA is calculated by multiplying each subject’s Grade by its Coefficient then divide the product sum by the total of the Coefficients. It’s been said that Coefficients are similar to credit hours.
Then, we don’t have AP classes, but we two exams that are the same as the Regents exams, called regional and national exams, do these get a weighted +0.5 pts, + 1.0 pts, or no additional pts?

Please, Is anyone familiar with this process or have an idea about it? I’m applying to college next year and I need this conversion to position myself for college choice and to send it with my transcripts.

Thank you for your time.

The way it works, if you attended a French patterned school
13-14= A
10= B

Split between the 4e-2e classes and the premiere-terminale.
4e-2e:

  • integrated math 1-2-3 (three units of math)
  • integrated physical science (physics&chemistry) 1-2-3, integrated natural sciences (biology, earth science, environmental science) 1-2-3, technology (ICT) => equivalent to 1 unit in each subject
  • foreign language 1,2,3 =>3 units
  • French (AP level)
  • Arabic (native language/language arts)
  • World History, 20th century history, Human Geography = 3 units

If the College is preparatory or integrated to a lycee, all classes are considered honors and are considered most demanding curriculum.

1e-Term = depends on your filiere de bac.
Roughly speaking, coef 3-4 = equivalent to one AP (combined subjects with coef 6/7-8 are equivalent to two APs, such as physics and chemistry in S or economics and political thought in es.) Coef 2= honors. Coef 1= elective.
Some advanced subjects are not offered in most us high schools, such as the philosophy courses for the L, and can be noted IB HL.
All of this is an approximation, wgxih should be acknowledged. Most us colleges will know about French patterned systems and will evaluate accordingly.
Bac general = most demanding curriculum.

Honors are weighted +.5, DE/AP/IB +1 for the weighted GPA.
