<p>I took the Oct 6 SAT and scored a 1910.
M: 650
CR: 630
W: 630 (8 essay)</p>
<p>I wanted this to be my last time taking it, and I thought I had scored over a 2000. I studied for this all summer, and I’m really disappointed I didn’t reach my goal. I’ve decided to take the Dec 1 SAT, so I have a little over a month to prepare. </p>
<p>I think my main trouble is CR, especially inference questions. I was surprised at my 630 W score because I had consistently scored 700+ on previous practice tests.</p>
<p>I have numerous books already, but is there any specific way you recommend I study to reach my goal?</p>

<p>For CR, one tip I can give you is that an answer cannot be an assumption so if you cannot support your answer from the passage given, then it is not correct. Also, if there is one part of an answer that is wrong, the whole thing is wrong.
Lastly, for CR questions don’t try to find the correct answers but instead cross off the incorrect and what your left with should be correct and you can check by finding support in the passage.
