How to improve attention span for SAT/PSAT

<p>I am having SO much trouble with just sitting in one place and taking a practice PSAT or SAT test. I seriously get super distracted, and its really hard to get a decent score right now on practice tests. I don’t know if my attention span is the reason, but I feel like it does contribute. Not only can I not take the PSAT (which is shorter than SAT) in one sitting, but I have to get up every section and take like an hour-long break. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! This is obviously a really bad way to practice. PLEASE HELP!!!</p>

<p>Have you been diagnosed with any attention deficit disorders (ADD, ADHD)? If there’s a physiological reason for your short attention span you may be eligible for special testing conditions. Otherwise, just take some deep breaths and try to put everything in perspective. The SAT isn’t going to determine your path through life. It won’t make or break you. Anxiety tends to sap one’s focus, the best thing you can do is relax.</p>
