Hey guys, I am going to be a sophomore next year at SUNY Buffalo, and am on the pre-med track. As I look at other big name universities(Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, Stanford, Harvard, other Ivies, etc.), I feel intimidated that my undergraduate university may confound my chances of getting into these schools. Is there any way I can offset this setback in my application?
Keep your GPA up. Show an interest in medicine by e.g. volunteering at a hospital. Med school admissions isn’t complicated, it’s just difficult.
