How to Improve my 1820?

I took the SAT in June & received an 1820 composite with extremely varied scores.
I plan to take it again in December.

CR: 600
M: 480
W: 740

I’m a senior & applied to colleges E/A so the retake is more for merit aid and honors programs that I’m hoping to get into now.

I really want to boost my CR+M grade to over a 1200. Any tips?

The online College Board SAT study program helped my son a lot. It is like the blue book but it gives you much more feedback and times it for you.

Look at the analysis to see what you need the most help in. If you are not in pre-calculus yet, you might want to get specific math tutoring. You also might want to get tested for a learning disability in math, as the scores are so different indicating that general intelligence is not the issue. I teach college, and I can tell you that there are many students who don’t realize that they have a learning disability, as they have been struggling through and just thought they “weren’t smart enough” or “had a bad day”.

Remember also that most schools willl take your best scores for each section, so go crazy studying for math, especially in a timed environment.

You can surely increase your maths. Its a place where you can score. ^Go crazy after maths and CR. Do practice, memorize words, join courses. I am sure you can hit at least a 2150 if you get more serious.
Best of Luck

For math I think you should just learn the concepts first. Once you know the concepts i think you just need to practice it. It should bump your math score to at least a 600-700 range.
