<p>Anyone have any strategies to improve reading comp. for the SSAT?
I keep getting 3-5 wrong every time, thereby bringing by score down to 761-728 every time.</p>
<p>Yes, read a 19th century novel. The level of grammar and vocabulary will make you stretch your brain. The Three Musketeers is a good one. Very difficult to read yet still entertaining, you will gain a lot from the exercise.</p>
<p>The amount of preparation needed to boost your score from 760ish to 800 is not worth it IMHO.</p>
<p>3-5 wrong; I got 8 wrong in my practice test!!!</p>
<p>seriously i hate reading comprehension especially because english is not even my first language. I mess up on it BIG time!!</p>
