My one EC that actually matters:

-Heavily involved in Congressional debate, extemporaneous speaking and impromptu speaking

Significant awards won on local level
-VHSL State champion in extemp (10)

-NCFL Virginia Metrofinals Impromptu 2nd Place (10)

Significant Awards on National Level (all in congressional debate)

I anticipate placing at TOC next year or at least doing very well.

Tips for improving resume?

I would advise that you edit out your school name. Based on your stats/EC’s/school people can easily figure out who you are.

if you’re majoring in business, have you ever thought about doing some business-related EC’s? Your speech EC is fantastic, but you’ll need a good reason why you want to major in business, unless you can somehow relate speech/debate to an interest in business. Basically, you need something to write about in the ‘Why Major’ essay.

Other than that, your profile is very strong. Congratulations on your accomplishments so far!

Great resume especially if you actually get your projected test scores. Get the NSDA Academic All American Award right after Winter Break. You just need to submit a form signed by your debate coach and principal. You obviously have a high enough GPA and enough NSDA points. I agree that giving your HS name makes it easy to figure out who you are. Anyway good luck. Keep up the good work.
