How To Increase 400+ Points on SAT 1?

I just got my report card yesterday and have now faced the fact that my GPA cannot get any higher (3.0). I’m a rising senior, so I don’t have anymore time to even try. However, I do have time to take the SATs one last time and try to get to the 2000s.

These are my previous scores:

1st time
630 Reading
420 Math
560 Writing (essay 8)

cumulative score: 1610

2nd time
720 Reading
510 Math
600 Writing (essay 9)

cumulative score: 1830

Now, how can I improve on those because I really really really want to go to Bryn Mawr.

Take it again, get fewer questions wrong.

Read silverturtle’s study guide -stickied at the top of this page- and follow his advice.

It looks like you should spend much more time reviewing the mathematics portion and then gain a better understanding of technical grammar usage. Your CR score seems pretty good right now so you should focus on the other two sections, math especially.
