How to increase my SAT score

<p>I have been trying to give mock/practise tests, and getting my scores around 1800. The main reason being, I am not able to complete my maths test on time though I finish my reading and writing before time or just on time. My writing and reading scores are coming around 600-680 but maths is just 500-600 :frowning:
680 is the highest that I scored in reading and writing.
630 the highest in maths</p>

<p>Another problem is I have already registered for my SAT, it will be on 5th October and my school mid term are going on which will end on 25th September and I have to score high on these.</p>

<p>Midterms on Sept 25th? Are you an trimesters?</p>

<p>Sounds like you have a timing problem on the math. Practice identifying which questions are going to take you time to complete, and skip them. If you only answer those you can do quickly, you should have time to go back to the others and try to answer them. At least that way you have maximized your opportunity to earn credit for correct answers.</p>

<p>OH, and don’t be so impatient. Expecting an answer in 36 minutes is a bit pushy.</p>

<p>I am an international student, our semester pattern is different but the exams going on are very impotent for me…</p>
