and get used to the writing questions

i already have the blue book and even barrons. Does the kaplan live online course help. how much can i increase my score with it.

Make sure that you

(1) learn all the necessary SAT specific strategies
(2) practice problems for 20 to 30 minutes per day
(3) do about 4 tests under timed conditions before test day (actual SATs or tests from the blue book)

Best of luck!

i study for like 2 hours everyday and my critical reading score has alreagy increased by like 80 points

i wabt to know if the kaplan online course useful and what is the average score increase.

Shawn,

A word of caution. If you study 2 hours a day you risk burning yourself out. 6 months is a very long time to keep that up. Also, the human brain tends to retain things that you learn in the first few minutes and last few minutes. So it’s good to keep your study sessions short. That’s why I recommend studying 20 to 30 minutes at a time. Once per day is definitely sufficient, but if you insist on doing more try to take long, relaxing breaks after every 20 to 30 minutes of studying. If you start to feel overworked take a day or 2 off.

The main purpose of a course is for motivation. You don’t seem to need that, so I would suggest saving your money. Just make sure you learn all the SAT specific strategies. Don’t fall into the trap of doing problems the same way you would do them in school. This is an easy way to keep you from maximizing your score.

hey i got it thanx. another question will doing a precollege summer program at wharton increase my chances of admission to wharton if i apply early.
