excessive hours of tetris may help keep your mind off it!

I play Magic: Online way too much. Gets my mind off of colleges. Although when waiting for my turn to start during my game, I am often reading CC. Pitiful. :)

I lurk CC forums and collegeboard’s site for college info…I not very good at distracting myself…

Watch…COLLEGE basketball mwahaha. but if you got rejected from a school thats a good excuse to root against them and not pick them in your bracket.

Hey Everyone, new to the site.

I try to play the video game all day. I’m waiting anxiously, for Northwestern. bites fingernails

Things I’ve Done Over Spring Break While Trying Not to Think About College:

-knit
-photographed random graffiti
-redecorated my bulletin board
-pressed the refresh button on my email inbox about 78 times
-read cheesy girly magazines like Teen Vogue and Seventeen
-painted my toenails. twice. in one day.
-learned how to solve a rubik’s cube
-practiced until my rubik’s cube time was done under 2 minutes
-watched endless hours of YouTube, Desperate Housewives, LOST
-bounced on the trampoline until I threw out my shoulder…ouch
-texted my boyfriend begging him to return from his vacation in Prague early. please.
-reread Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.
-made those silly “countdown to March 31st” counters
-reorganized my iTunes, creating about 83 new playlists

I’m only halfway through Spring Break.
This can only end badly.

In school to get my mind off thinking about college when I am just day dreaming because I don’t care what my teachers are teaching I do sudokus.
WHen I am home in the afternoon waiting for the mail to come which comes at like 4:30 I go crazy checking my emails and just anticipating for a college letter of acceptance to arrive. So basically I try to not be home in the afternoon so I don’t go crazy. Instead my friends and I have been making youtube videos. Check us out thekarshow, our latest vid is good.
Also I have gotten a part time job that is temporary and will last like 2-3 weeks. It makes it so I am not home until 5 the latest.

watch a lot of movies and tv series.

guitar hero!

ironically, coming to cc helps me b/c i remember that there are thousands of other people going through the same stress and i’m not alone. but when i’m not here, i play sudoku until my eyes start to melt out of my head.

Work out, play a sport, do something physical.

best thing i’ve doing: working out. like every day…
then i got lazier, and started baking and cooking.
now, i’m immobilized by senioritis+fear, and i’ve spent the past few days watching tv, procrastinating on homework, and going on CC. ugh.

** i’ve BEEN doing, i mean.

Sarahhs-That’s the worst part about this. Senioritis wasn’t affecting my schoolwork until it got so close to the college deadline, but now I’m so unfocused all of the time, I end up procrastinating. >.>
