How to Make a Database/Spreadsheet

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I am about to sound like a total computer moron but I don’t know how to make a spreadsheet- like to use for various colleges.</p>

<p>I am thinking I’d like to do one of Google Docs or if not, then in Excel. I’m having trouble finding a simple explanatory video that starts with the basics.</p>

<p>If anyone could help me find some beginner level instructions, I’d be most grateful!</p>

<p>ps- we’re a Mac family, if that makes any difference, but we do have Microsoft Excel.</p>

<p>Vandygrad: would you like to share it with your college bound child with the least amount of effort? Then I’d suggest using Google Docs. You can each edit the spreadsheet then, without having to email them to each other & wondering if you have the most recent version. </p>
