How can I twist my small jewelry-making business into something medicine or STEM related that stands out in my application. I really like science and want to incorporate it into this.
Your ECs do not have to be related to your undergrad major. My engineering kid had 2 ECs in high school…music and swim team. Neither related to engineering.
Do your business because you want to…not because you hope to impress some adcom.
ETA…for a legit business, you will need a parent or someone to help you set this up. You cant do it alone.

You likely can’t. It is a jewelry-making business, so unless the jewelry is STEM-themed or something, trying to twist into something it’s not will not strengthen your application. AOs can see through this sort of thing. Describe it as what it is and don’t try to turn it into something it’s not. It’s a fine EC, if it is something you truly enjoy doing. It’s great to be creative. And it’s enough.
