How to make AP scores a factor?

I’m applying to Vassar ED II, and I have pretty low SAT/ACT scores, although I have 1 more shot at each. However, I have pretty decent AP scores.

I’m planning on pursuing some sort of social science, whether it is medievial and renaissance studies, history, or political science, and i’ve taken the AP classes in high school to supplement my interest in the social sciences.

My AP class grades and test scores are as follows:

AP European History: 91, 90 - 5
AP Human Geography: 89, 85 - 5
AP U.S. History: 83, 84 - 5 (My counselor will be addressing the reason for my low grades in this class)
AP World History: 83/90 - 4
AP Government: 89: 92 - taking ap test this may
AP Economics: taking the class next semester

Is there anything I can do to place more emphasis on my AP scores, and will this help me at all?

Are AP scores actually considered in the admissions process at LACs?

Son and nephew are both at LACs (different ones) in the Top Ten. Neither one used AP test scores for admissions - never mentioned them, never wrote them anywhere. Both got in ED.

AFTER they got accepted, they submitted them for placement purposes or to get credit.

I like middlebury’s test requirements. I think AP tests are a much better representation than SAT IIs.

Ask your GC to mention this in his recco.

I guess you can make it a factor if you get hired Dean of Admissions.
