How to make the SAT into a PSAT?

I want to practice for the PSAT, and I have the blue book, and I want to know which sections on the SAT I can take to make it as similar to the PSAT as possible. I don’t have the time for a 4 hour test, and also this is the most accurate type of exams, because it’s from the official college board. Can someone help me?!

Also, how would I convert my scores from SAT to PSAT, if I took only a few sections, not all?

If you only took a few sections from the SAT to get a PSAT scores, it is impossible to get a PSAT score. You don’t know if the questions you skipped were easier or harder on average as not every esciton has to be the same average difficulty. And there is no PSAT curve for SAT tests. You could compare to pre-existing PSAT curves but even those fluctuate a lot.

okay well which sections on the SAT should I take to make it like the PSAT, i dont care about score, i just mainly care about practice and the accuracy of the questions

Other than using old PSATs, the best way to do it is to take the full tests in the blue book, and divide the score by 10. The scale will compensate for the increased length of the SAT compared to the PSAT. (Other than the factor of ten, your PSAT scores are meant to reflect what you would get on the SAT without additional preparation.)

You don’t have to take the entire test at once. Do all the math sections, for example. Or even one section at a time.

thank you!!!
