How to meet and marry JD (not the one just died)

I was assuming I could just walk right in but the event proved quite popular and made to wait if there are any seat left for the seminar which Jeffrey Deitch (Wes some’70-sh ) is going to speak at the Guggenheim Museum.
I wedged myself in the crevice on the funky wall of the spiral atrium and to kill time, engaged in my usual racial head count game.
Only counted one black ticket taker, two asian staff, one black security guard on the museum side and out of all the visitors, there are only two fake Yayoi Kusama, one fake Murakami (either one, Takashi or Haruki, also lesser known Ryu), a lone guy with cascade of dreadlocks.
It is amazing in this neighborhood how everyone stay skinny and clear skinned and well dressed ( in certain way- aqua kid groves with tweed suits, seriously, and lots of jingling dangling metals, toga with bold motifs, dress made out of tatami carpet ) regardless of age groups. So white so rich so posh so not me but I don’t give a s.
There were three prep school siblings, say, 15, 10, 7-sh boys with ticket holding parents. I was tempted to trick yunguns like the Grinch did to little Cindy loo who ( why don’t you just let me in and you run around here and have fun?) I did not have to do that, after all there was enough room and was able to meet - real, breathing somewhat reminded me of the certain circus crown guy I know without the makeup-mighty Jeffery soon to be the director of the LAMOCA.
I came to understand that his success is not all that of brain and money smarts, but lots depends on his charm ( and the alma mater!! ) and that eye glasses. Good luck in Hollywood, or bad luck, I’d rather love to have you around here as ongoing role model.

Yes, Jeff was quite good last night. I thought I would die when he began the powerpoint presentation with a Robert Colescott painting called, “Eat Dem `Taters”. But, he went on to put the whole thing into perspective as one of the many “funky objects” he has encountered throughout his career. Also, kudos to Sir Norman Rosenthal who was head curator of the Royal Academy of Art for over thirty years. The two of them made quite a tag team.
