<p>One of the most important factors which decide your SAT scores is your English vocabulary level. If you want to win high scores in SAT, you must have a solid memory of 1000 Frequently Tested SAT Words.
How To Memorize these 1000 SAT Words In 3 Month?
The following step by step procedures have been proved effective:</p>

<p>Step I:
Get a SAT review book which includes 1000 frequently tested SAT words and also get vocabulary sample exams (computer based vocabulary exams or a vocabulary exam book). </p>

Make a 3-month plan for word learning. Memorizing an unfamiliar word one time can not get a long lasting memory. We should repeat the memorizing<br>
2 time( total 3 times of the memorizing). Spend 45 days on the first memorizing of the 1000 words, 23 words each day. Spend 30 days on the second memorizing and 15 days on the third memorizing.</p>

<p>Step III
Carry out the 3-month plan. You should use 2 kinds of study resources in the plan. One is a SAT review book which includes 1000 frequently tested SAT words. The other is a collection of vocabulary sample exams which can either be computer based vocabulary exams or a vocabulary exam book. Computer based vocabulary exams are more interesting and more effective
than a vocabulary exam book. Each day, spend 1 hour memorizing new words and 30 minutes practicing with sample exams.
Details about carrying out the plan:<br>
(1) In the first 45 days, you will memorize 23 words each day. There should not be too many words with a same beginning letter among the 23 words to avoid mixing up them. The better way is to choose 3 words with the begging
letter,a, 3 words with the begging letter,b, 3 words with the begging letter,
c,and so on.
(2)Do your best to use a synonym to memorize a word instead of a sentence. This way, you can use the minimum informationto memorize a new word.
(3)If a word has many meanings, do not try to memorize all its meanings.You only need to memorize its major meaning/meanings.</p>

<p>Also, after you have learned a new word, use it anywhere you can…when you talk, write, think…ect. I pretty much did what you described above on my own, at my own pace. I’d like to say out of the 1200 words i memorized, i have about 600-800 <em>for sure</em> in my head and the rest “kinda”.</p>
