Hey, I have an on campus in a few weeks. I’m new to this process and am really nervous. Anyone have any ideas/comments about how to start prepping? I’ve spent a few hours on the yale site already. Are there any other sources of info out there? I cant seem to find a yale information catalogue type thing or a “request information” place on the site.

How did/are you guys preparing? What should I do besides what i’ve already done?
Thanks

No prep needed. Read the stickied thread RD Applicants: Interview Advice, especially posts by T26 and myself who are alumni interviewers. The thread is about alumni interviews, but a lot of the same info goes for on campus interviews.

How many of the top 25 schools want interviews, on campus vs. alumni?
I am trying to go visit and get an interview at some schools.

Schools I’m looking at
Brown
Tufts
William/Mary
BU
BC
Wellesley
Smith
Amherst

As Admissionsaddict suggested, read through the RD applicant interview thread; JED posted recently about his on campus experience (it’s on the last page, post #544) and there is really nothing to worry about for your interview. Good luck, and most of all, enjoy it!

Great. will try that. Still new to this site and getting use to searches, etc.

I would suggest showering, brushing your teeth, and putting on clean clothes.
