How to prepare for CR?

I’m an international student. I’m now in Grade 11 and I will take my first SAT in May.
I can get at least 770 in Maths
But i’m not sure how can I get in CR and Writing~
If I want about 2100 (Of course 2200+ is best, if i can) this time, what should I do during these 3 months? I’m not weak in wrinting but my I’m not good at CR.
Thank you.Thank you~

oh wow… for starters, there is no easy solution for CR. you must build your vocab, work on your time management, and try to be exposed to variety of reading passages. it’ll take at least 6 months to really boost your CR scores. no pain, no gain!!!

Boosting CR scores is not that difficult. Just read through the blue book and take the practice tests. You should be able to raise you score nearly 100 points or so (assuming that this is the first studying you have done). After that point it is very difficult to raise you scores much higher.

The most important thing I have learned about CR is that the correct answer must be supported in the text. Also watch out for traps go back into the text and underline the supporting statement if you need to, and if you can’t find the supporting statement then the answer is wrong.

The sentence completions are tough though and just try to improve your vocabulary is the only advise I can give you. Also POE (Process of Elimination) helps a lot.

writing is pretty easy to improve. Just do alot of practises and you will figure out what collegeboard is testing about… You’ll always see the pattern and learn these techinques hard. You will be on your way to 700+… this is at least how i improve my writing

Thank you a million!

honestly, just do many practice cr tests out of the blue book.
that’s wat i did two-three nights before. went through all blue book cr mc, and my score went up from 690 to 770. you become cognizant of the different patterns and traps the SAT utilizes
