Next year will be my 1st year participating. Any advice how I should study?
Thank you very much.

You should try reading Campbell’s. However, the entire test isn’t based on memorization only. There’s still application of concepts.

Another USABO thread :)!! Yes Campbell’s first…I’m working on it…

A derailed P.S. @ bluedolphinx: Did you get the Academic Decathlon thing settled?

@yellowdaisies: I’ll have to wait until school year to ask the teachers and counselor at my school. There might be a pretty good chance we can do it. I’ve got lots of people who want to participate. Still have trouble finding the B and C students, though.

Yay!! I’m excited for you! I love it Well just talk to people and you never know…people may surprise you. We have these State competitions which are like mock competitions for regionals and states and we have to find like 7 varsities (C) and 7 scholastics (B), it’s pretty awful and we end up with a lot of people who…well…how to put this nicely… Yeah, its just bad haha. But normally you can find 3 people for the regional and state competitions you are smart but have low grades. Oh, and only the top 2 scores from each division count so really you only need 2 varsities (but it’s always safer to have 3)

Um…GO USABO!!! (Had to bring it back to this thread somehow :))

Thanks, yellowdaisies. That’s so nice of you. You motivated me so much!!! I hope I won’t disappoint you.
