How to put my ECs on the app?

Who can give me some example of specific EC?</p>

Varsity Tennis, #1 singles</p>

<p>Stuff like that.</p>

<p>Div. I YMCA swimming- blah years
Blah records, blah titles, Blah awards, MVP, High point. etc</p>

<p>USA Swimming- Blah Years
Blah records, blah titles, blah top ten times, blah </p>

<p>Lacrosse: Eastern MA Div. I lax
Captain, lead scorer, top ranked attack. etc</p>

BTW, do you guys think sending a 3 pages essay is appropriate for the graded writing sample?<br>
For the formal essay, is it necessary to copy them on the paper or print them out from the printer?<br>
Can we attach any paper for Hotchkiss’ formal application?</p>

<p>3 pages is enough, perfect actually. You can either hand write or type the formal essays. I don’t think you need both.</p>

<p>yes you can print out your essay. just as long as it’s only one page. And I would try to put your best EC’s on the application. Most boarding schools will just overlook the clubs where your just a “member”. I’d try to fit some chairmen positions or even founder positions are great too</p>
