To be honest, here is the best advice you’ll ever get, though it may sound so primitive: When doing complicated math problems, don’t skip them if you don’t understand them because the repetitive patterns will mean that you will encounter them again and again. Instead, what you can do is just stare at the problem, thinking hard to find a solution. Think creatively. If you need a boost, keep saying to yourself, “think creative. think creative” and believe you me, a solution will pop up. Best of luck!

yo, for Math, think of it this way. The solution CANNOT be super complicated, right? Like, they only give you so much time, 25 minutes, so they can’t expect you to think of some ridiculous formula or something to get the answer.

I just wrote my second practice SAT test today, and got 730 in math with 3 dumb mistakes, so I could’ve got around 770 or so. Guess what I had on my first practice test? 670. So, you can definitely improve in Math with practice.

What you do, at least what I do, if I get to something hard, just put down stuff you know. Anything that relates to the question. Put it down, and use the info. given to mix it up a little. Try to think of something that makes sense to do. I’m leading into what Fresh101 said above basically^^^ If you have time on the section, then use it, don’t give up. Even if you get reasonable close to the answer, you might be able to rule out some solutions that make no sense…getting closer to the right answer at the same time
