So, long story short, I didn’t take school that seriously, and I have a cumulative gpa of about 2.0… I realized that I didn’t like my major and want to switch. The major I’m interested in requires you to “apply” after about 2-2.5 years of taking prep courses. To get accepted, you have to have a 2.6-2.75 minimum cumulative gpa. Is it possible for me to raise my gpa from a 2.0 to a 2.75 if I work really hard and do well for the next 4 semesters??
It depends on how many hours you’ve taken. You can easily work this out on a GPA calculator online and see exactly what GPA you would need to get in the next however-many course hours in order to attain a certain GPA overall.
Technically speaking, it should be. But you’ll have to be really dedicated to make it happen.
Go to class faithfully, do your outside of class work faithfully, don’t hesitate for a second to ask for help for anything you don’t understand faithfully, make your education the priority faithfully.
Calculate your cumulative GPA, plugging in different grade scenarios for the next semesters.
