How to recognize and stop unfamiliar and undesirable discrimination?

I think the only thing we can do is to learn about people from all over and not just the area(s) where we have a particular interest. If we notice someone feeling uncomfortable, we say something. We provide a safe and open atmosphere where people feel comfortable disclosing information, including perceived discrimination. And once made aware of something that is wrong, we move to stop it from occurring again.

If others have more particular suggestions, I’m happy to read them.
