I’ve noticed people referring to other users in this forum without the @ symbol showing. How do you do that?
Also, I am assuming this forum uses latex. Does anyone having a “cheat sheet” of all the latex formulas that work on this site?

Iamjack: Do you mean just typing it without the @? Or do you mean actually tagging them, @bodangles, with the link but somehow without the @?
@bodangles how do I get your name to appear in a quote like below without the @ sign? your name should be blue.
Edit: Never mind, I got it.
the @ makes it highlight in blue and notify the poster that they are being referenced.
Okay, now I’m curious…how did you get the @ sign to go away @iamjack?
[ quote=bodangles]quoted text here[ /quote]
Without the space between the [ and the q
@ClaremontMom I believe you can only do so in quotes.
To phrase a regular quote you do:
[ quote] types whateves / quote
To refer to the person who you are quoting:
[ quote = ClaremontMom] type whatevs /quote.
@bodangles is there a way to do a similar reference without quoting someone?
Cool. It worked!
