Looking for anyone in the same boat as me. I don’t know what to do, or how to know which classes to take.
For which classes to take, it depends on your major, and which lower division courses you completed the equivalents to at your prior college. Since you have not mentioned any of the above, no one else here can help you on that.
New students generally select their classes at CalSO orientation.
@ucbalumnus Do you pick the name of the class or the specific class with the instructor? Wouldn’t it be wise to check rate my professor first before picking classes or checking your schedule?
You pick a specific section of the course (if there are more than one) to register for. The different sections may have different instructors. Look at the on-line schedule to find out what sections are offered at which times of the day and with which instructors.
It should not be different conceptually from your prior college.
