Hey guys

I’m trying to register but it won’t let me (it says people should create new accounts, even if they already have one). I took the test last June for the first time and on the site it says to type in my information and it will match me with my old info on my old account. But it says it can’t find me. I’m really worried. Should I create a new account for the September ACT? Does anyone know what will happen to my old account?

Create a new account. It says right on the website where you login/register a new account that:

Since your last testing date was in June, I’d assume you’d need to create a new account.

yes but it also says it will match the info i enter with my old info…and it says there’s no match. do you think i should just create a new account? is there any way this could screw up my old account?

I would just go ahead and create a new account…if there’s no match, there’s no match. If you’re really concerned about it (the possibility of losing a previous ACT score, for instance), I’d try and get in contact with the ACT administrators. You’re probably trying to beat the deadline and its inevitable late-fee, huh? I’m sorry…sucks to have happen last minute!

Thanks, Ibellibie. I’ll go ahead and create the new account and contact ACT about the old score. Ugh! Deadlines! lol
