It really drive me crazy!
Got a package of cloths from friend, heavy smell of mothball.
I put it outside for almost 3 days but still smell strong.
Is there any better way?

Try commercial activated charcoal absorbers or just plain charcoal (NOT the kind pre-soaked with starter fluid). Fill a plastic container with charcoal briquettes, tigtly snap the lid on (make holes in the lid prior to filling the box with charcoal), then place the container in the closet. Charcoal has high affinity for naphthalene, the compound which is causing the mothball smell, and will absorb it.

You might also want to ask someone at a pet store if they have anything. I know cat litters have those charcoal filters mentioned in the post above.
