So I just a Email from one of the schools, the “Associate Director of Admissions” said she is impressed by my essay and “The letters of recommendation submitted on your behalf were amazing. We’d gladly welcome you into our community!”
This is a private school and because of the recent crises, my family could not afford it anymore. They have a full ride scholarship though. Is it ok to tell him my family problem in the reply? And can I say “I’m very interested in your school’s full ride scholarship”? Or should I just thank him in the reply?
Thank you very much…

I don’t think you should reply to the likely letter. Send a letter to the financial aid office explaining your situation instead. Saying you’re interested in the full ride probably won’t do much to change anything, as it’ll be much more about credentials than need. However, the financial aid office may be willing to work with you to meet your need.
