how to report extracurriculars?

I just graduated from high school, and I never had to report ECs when I was applying to college. How do I do so when I apply to transfer? Let’s say I had a summer job in the summer between my junior and senior years (of high school). How do I report it? How do colleges confirm that I had the job so they don’t think I’m lying? I feel so stupid for asking this. And what if my high school doesn’t have a record of my ECs (they were recorded on cards throughout the years, and I don’t know if they will have been discarded)? Would I have to think back and report all my ECs in high school as well?

Is there anything I need to know now in terms of the transfer application? i will be applying in 1.5 years (junior transfer)

As a jr transfer applicant, it is your college, not your HS ECs that will be most important. Colleges don’t spend the time to confirm ECs. But it is always advisable to tell the truth as lies often have a way of coming out. You should be keeping a log of all of your EC, work, volunteer, etc. hours and activities.

Just jot it onto the application, sir. But don’t make up a lie.
