You think it is possible that a student who left a university with a outstanding balance could go back to that same university even if that student’s account was place in a collection’s agency? If the student was allow back in would the account still be in collections?
Likely you would have to pay your balance before you could return.
The outstanding balance was orignity paid with a scholarship that they offer but i did not return, so the scholarship got cancel and the balance was place in collection without my knowledge.
You have to do your FA paperwork. If you don’t, they will give the scholarship to someone else. You still have to pay it to go back.
Before this we had a agreement that I would be taken off billing hold with a scholarship, and it was up to me if i came back, they never warn me that if i did not return my account would be place in collections. They omitted a lot of details. What if I pay a visit to the college and somehow spoke to the executives?
Sure, make an appointment with financial aid or the billing office. It can’t hurt. If you have anything in writing from the agreement you think you had, take it with you or forward it to them if you are having a phone meeting.
