Can anyone tell me how to double check that CC has my correct email address on file? It’s not showing when I check my profile. It’s been so long since I was active here, I think it might be wrong.

In fact, this is my first time seeing the new user interface. How nice that we can have avatars. 
@DougBetsy, see if this will work:
Click on the little gear icon at upper right of each page (“Preferences”), then click on “Change Email,” which shows up in the list of options on the left side of the page.
