How to select a campus job that suits me?

So, the campus job questionnaire has arrived. My college offers a wide array of jobs, but I’ve managed to narrow it down to five: Theatre-Scene Shop, Music, Art-Image Projectionist, Career Counselling, and Public Affairs-News. These short titles bear no further description, which makes me ponder over what the true task would be. Take Image Projectionist for example, I know it’ll probably be a boring errand that mainly requires physical work, but does it bring perks like free art lectures that you can enjoy while keeping an eye on your work? And, about the scene shop, can anybody who has work-studied in the theatre field please tell me how much physical work does it involve? I am certainly not happy about the prospect of me being sent to a crane several floors above the stage to adjust the lighting. And at those general college offices, will I be bossed around on random and bureaucratic tasks?

Any input is welcome! Many thanks in advance!

This is probably something that’s very school-specific - you’re probably better off asking current students at your college if they have any experience with these jobs. (Try your college’s facebook group?)
