<p>Should my teachers give them back to me and should I mail them to the schools myself? Or should the teachers make the photocopies and send it off to the schools?</p>
<p>Depends on your school I think. My school does it the second way: you give them the common app form with the list of common app schools you’re applying to as well as envelopes addressed to each school (DON’T FORGET STAMPS ON THE ENVELOPES), they write the rec on the common app form, copy it, and stick each one in the envelope, then send them off. Easy as that. </p>
<p>If you do it the other way, UChicago certainly wouldn’t find out, but it looks a little sketchy…</p>
<p>I would tend to agree with neogop. To be honest, I’m surprised that your school even offers to give you the recommendations and have you send them off.</p>
<p>I know some of my teachers also preferred to do the recommendation online, so make sure and give them that option too.</p>
