How to send Dual or Concurrent Enrollment Transcripts?

I have taken Multivariable Calculus at a nearby community college during the fall semester of my senior year. The transcript for the class was just made available. However, many of the mid-year transcript deadline is due this month. I do have the transcript, but it is an unofficial electronic copy. I sent the copy via E-mail to all the admissions (except Yale b/c I can’t find their admissions E-mail). I know Cornell accepts dual enrollment transcripts by E-mail, but should I have to actually mail an official hardcopy to all the other colleges I applied to? I checked out all their websites but I couldn’t find any info on this…

For the info, I applied to: Brown, Caltech, Cornell, CMU, Columbia, Georgiatech, Harvard, JohnsHopkins, Princeton, Stanford, NotreDame, Yale, MIT, and some UCs.

Thank you.

  1. All colleges have admissions emails that you can find on their admissions pages. Email and ask what to do.
If you google you can find that you can call Yale https://admissions.yale.edu/questions

  2. You seem to be very reach heavy in your schools. Hopefull y some UCs are more matches.

  3. All of your schools are very different…e.g., Brown is more flexible in curriculum where Columbia requires a Classics study. You don’t seem to have thought about what you want as much as Top 10 schools.

Out of your list my D applied to Brown, Columbia, Princeton and MIT. All allowed self reporting or sending the unofficial transcript at that time.

A couple of my D’s schools accepted unofficial transcripts if sent from the Guidance Counselor so you might ask your GC as s/he may have past experience with this and know how to send it.

In the time that you struggled with this checking umpteen college and university websites, you probably could simply have requested your CC to send the official copies. Normally that can be requested through the student’s own poertal on the CC website. If you can’t find the link, use the search function to look for “transcripts”.
