How to show interest..?

I have 3 schools (Pitzer, Scripps, and Macalester) towards the top of my list that I wasn’t able to visit, and two (Pitzer and Scripps) of them didn’t visit my school. I interviewed at all three, emailed my admissions officers at all three, signed up for the mailing lists, did a Pitzer webinar, went to a Macalester reception, etc. Should I try sending a letter to the schools or something? All three are in my top 6.

You should be fine. If you live far away colleges understand that it can be unfeasible to visit.

@happy1 I’m only worried because Scripps was the school I was able to do the least at (No webinar, no reception near me) and they’ve never taken anyone from my very liberal-artsy HS!

If you contacted the admissions officer and expressed your interest and interviewed I think that is fine in terms of demonstrating interest if you are too far away to visit. This may not be what you want to hear but sometimes you just have to do the best you can and let the cards fall where they may. Good luck.

Check out the Common Data Set for Scripps

And for Pitzer

https://www.pitzer.edu/institutional-research/wp-content/uploads/sites/33/2017/02/Pitzer-College-Common-Data-Sets-2016-2017.pdf

Section C7 “Level of applicant’s interest” is “Not considered” for Scripps and only “Considered” for Pitzer.

I wouldn’t worry about it.

I think you are fine. If you do have any new accomplishments since you submitted your application, send an email to admissions and ask that the information be considered as part of your application, and reiterate that you are excited apply.
