How To Signify Retroactively Withdrawn Grades on UCTAP?

Long story short, I received an email earlier today approving my request for a retroactive withdrawal for a semester (from a CSU, which will be shown on my record in a couple of days). So now I’m wondering which grade codes I would use to signify that the grades from that specific semester were retroactively withdrawn? I wouldn’t just use the normal ‘W’ would I? As you can see I’m kind of anxious considering the deadline for UC TAG’s is tomorrow. Thank you for any real clarification on this.

You should ask your school what grade will show up on your transcript since you are retroactively withdrawing. Can you call them right now? My guess is it it will just be a W.

@boxandwhiskers it seems their office is already closed. TAGs are due the day of the 30th as in I can’t turn one in past tomorrow right?

Correct. You have until midnight tomorrow to submit your TAG. I would call your school when they open tomorrow morning.

Definitely will do, thank you for the quick responses man! @boxandwhiskers

When I look at my unofficial transcript online I do see this section…

Unit total for “W” grades = 0 units. Beginning Fall 2009, undergraduate students
may withdraw from a maximum of 18 units taken through regular university (“W”
grade). Withdrawal from a semester (“WM” grade) are excluded from the 18 unit
maximum withdrawal limit.

I do not see any WM option on the UCTAP site for grade codes, so I have personally entered it under “Other” and updated all of those grades for that semester. I assume I would be fine explaining this and my situation in the additional comment section for TAG.

If worse comes to worse just put W and more in additional comments that those particular courses are retroactive withdrawals. (I actually don’t know if there is a special designation or not.)

@lindyk8 Most likely what I’ll end up doing, thank you.
