Rather than listening to lectures or pay quite an amount of money for tutoring or online classes, buying or borrowing books would be more sufficient,money-saving but time-consuming?Any methods?Because I don’t have any college friends so I cannot borrow their notes.
The issue of self studying is that you do not get any external validation.
For basic classes you could do that then take CLEP exams.
But for upper level classes there’s no alternative, you have to go to class, participate in discussions, run experiments in the lab, take tests…
If you don’t like lectures, choose Universities where classes in your major are small and I interactive, either honors program/college (depending on your stats) or a LAC.
If you just want to learn for learning’s sake, look at MIT’s ocw, Khan academy, Crash course (history, physics, psychology…)
What majors are you considering?
What Universities would you transfer to?
