I took the test the once and got placed in a class below the one I need to be in. They only give you a chance to take it twice, so I have to score at least a 670, got a 635 the first time. I feel like I already know what I know, and studying random topics won’t really help, but I don’t want this to alter my schedule negatively.

Do you know why scored lower than what you want to? Usually there are two reasons - either you don’t know the material, or you made stupid mistakes. How you study probably depends on which one you’re leaning towards. If you don’t make that many stupid mistakes but you aren’t willing to learn new material, then I don’t see how you’re going to score higher.

Is the placement test online? Is there a long time limit? If so, then a) you are usually allowed to use notes/a textbook and a calculator, which you should make sure you are using to the fullest extent, and b) check over your work. Twice, if you have the time. warbrain is definitely right about stupid mistakes.
