How to study for AP Euro midterm exam?

If anyone has taken AP Euro before, what do you suggest or have done in the past to study for midterm exams? My exam is on the 20th and that’s my only exam for the day.

And, if you are currently taking AP Euro and either took your midterms or planning on taking them soon…what are you doing or have done to study for midterms?

I finally bought Modern European History and it’s actually very good and worth the 17 dollars I paid.

I also need thoughts on this topic: One of my ex-friends (she used to be my friend, but I found out that she uses me and always complains that she failed her tests, but got A’s on them while I got B’s) kept the tests that my Euro teacher gave out for us to glance through because some of those questions will appear on the midterm. He wanted them back, but she kept the tests (I saw her put it in her binder) and he doesn’t know. Should I tell my teacher, or should I just leave it alone? I don’t want to be a tattletale and she can deny it, because she acts innocent all the time and my teacher would never suspect something like that.

Can a whole bunch of people that are taking or have taken AP Euro answer this please? I want to know how everyone is studying or has studied for their AP Euro midterms. I really don’t know how to start studying for this. I bought Modern European History and I don’t know whether I should read this along with my textbook or just read it alone. I also don’t know if I should review my notes, since I have Modern European History. Please Help Me!!

Well, I do not take AP European History, but I take AP World History, and I can tell you how I studied for my mid-term exam. For one, my teacher is just like your teacher… She takes up the exams and reading quizzes after we review our grades and our answers because she will use the same questions on our exams. Well, the first thing I did is I reviewed all my notes that I have for that class. My notes really helped because it came straight from my teacher. Another thing for you should do is start studying now! The more you review the material, the better chance you will have to pass the exam. You should never think that a detail is too small for you to overlook. That one detail maybe the detail that helps you make a B rather than a C or a B rather than an C. Start a study group for the mid-term. I said this because your friends may have very important information that you don’t have and that information may be asked in an free response question. I would live the Modern European History book for the AP exam because the book may not stress a certain part or go into detail of a certain period like your teacher did in class, and usually when teachers go into depth or stress a certain part that usually what the text will be consisted of.

My study plan is as follows–

Read 10 pages of Modern European History every single night. No if’s and’s or but’s. I will totally complete the book twice 6 weeks before the AP exam.

In general, I do all of the assigned reading thoroughly and I take decent notes. Before every test I review these notes.

My teacher hands out the study guides accompyning our book-- I fill them all out and review off of them for the test and Midterm exam too.
