How to study for the SSATs?

tell me how you study for your ssat math, vocab, ELA?? i have plenty of time

It’s not necessary to get an expensive tutor or prep course. Just go to a bookstore and look in the Study Guides section where they would sell books for preparing for the SAT, ACT, GRE, etc. There are books specifically for preparing for the SSAT.

There are several different publishers, but it doesn’t really matter which one you pick. The important thing is that you dedicate yourself to using the the book. All the books have vocab lists, math review, test-taking strategy tips & practice tests. But the best thing to help you for the verbal section is to read a lot of books & newspapers on a regular basis.

Since you are in Korea, I should have mentioned that the SSAT study guides are available overseas. I have actually seen them in English-language bookstores in at least 3 countries in Asia.

do a diagnostic test, see what your weaknesses are, then work on those.

The Verbal section of the SSAT is the hardest section in my opinion…so just carry around a list of words where ever you go and just reading approves your vocabulary as well. I just do practice tests for reading and math and verbal too.
