Hello everybody! This is my first discussion, so I don’t really know how things work.
I’m a foreign exchange student from Italy, and I’m currently attending a high school in central Pennsylvania. My host family is a huge PSU fan, and they influenced me too. I’ve always wanted to go to college in the US, and I’m thinking Penn State might be the right choice. What are some advices, tips, secrets to survive college? I know literally nothing about college life, how things work in an American college or even the basics about dorms, classes etc.
Is there anything you can tell me to make me feel less scared about college?
Go and visit PSU. It is certainly not for everyone. I am a PSU grad and had the best 4 years. My eldest daughter went to a small private school. She would have gotten lost at PSU. My son really wants to go there and I think would thrive in a large “Ra Ra” school. It also depends on what you want to major in too. Good luck and find the right fit for you.
