So IF I’m not getting a job during the fall (see my job thread) how do you veterans survive financially? Like pocket money? I mean we need to eat and enjoy some stuff right?

savings and parents

many of us did not survive=/

jk. ditto^ I’m sure you have some money accumulated from high school.

You would be amazed at how little money I spent. You survive financially by not spending money. Easy right?

Frosh yr I spent ~$1730. Wouldn’t call myself a spender, but little things add up :(

you’ll learn how to live like a broke college student, whether you create a budget beforehand or find out the hard way.
just don’t let credit/debit cards become your best friend.
use cash as much as possible.
take advantage of your dining dollars and don’t spend your own money to eat.

Do you have a job now so that you can save for the fall? Maybe you can get some part-time work now and save all your earnings for college.

@jellybelly

Just curious, but what kind of stuff did you buy?

Well I do have a job now, and I’ll have a little over $2000 by the time I move in. Well I guess I’m going to have to wait on building a new computer.

Or might as well get a part time job. LOL I’m so indecisive.
