Tampa university’s prompt says “briefly describe any scholastic distinctions, extra curricular, and personal activities since the 9th grade” and I was wondering if I should tackle this by describing all the activities I’ve participated in or just three that meant the most to me?
Maybe you could briefly mention all of them but elaborate on the most meaningful ones. For example you could say, “I was involved in my high school’s NHS and Student Council, and these activities gave me the leadership skills I needed to found a mentoring program with a local elementary school. This activity was particularly important to me because…”
Don’t rehash your resume in the essay. Mentioning two or three that meant the most to you is best.
