<p>Hello. Every time I have someone view my college essay, their feedback usually consists of “This essay’s excellent, but you didn’t talk about yourself enough.” For my common app, I was told that I talked too much about the team and not enough about what I had done/learned. For my Penn supplement I was told that I didn’t focus enough on what I had to offer to Penn. </p>
<p>Can someone give me advice on how to incorporate these things into college essays? I generally stay away from talking about myself because I don’t want to come across as cocky in my essays.</p>
