Pretty random question… But my professor made her grading personal this quarter… so I was wondering if, over the years, anyone has learned any clever ways of telling their professor they’re conceited, incompetent , and should go suck it big time, WITHOUT getting in trouble for it (except for anonymously blasting them on Bruinwalk)?

Course evaluations?

Too late for that

They have tenure, you are an undergrad… other than a terrible review on ratemyprofessor, I have no suggestions. If they are an adjunct professor (and don’t have tenure), I suppose you might complain to the department head. But you better have proof and not sound petty, which could be difficult.

Well, it seems overachiever has won the race to the low road.

Just fyi, as much as she deserves it, I’ve decided to let this one go. I guess the low road in academia is only meant to be taken by tenured professors who have the privilege of getting away with it.

Good idea. Otherwise, by the time you’re my age, you’d be hunchbacked from all the chips on your shoulder.

I’ve been through more bad professors than I can count on two hands. I feel now that it was a blessing in disguise because at a big company, there will be many more people you hate that you have to deal with on a daily basis. And the worst part is, there is nothing you can do.

I almost think the school leaves bad professors in their position to teach students a lesson in life.
