English is not my first language, so I already give up on reading and English part. Math is the only thing I could do well on the ACT. But I’m being stuck in 27 because some question are really long and hard to understand to me, I can’t finish the test because it’s takes too much time for me to read the questions. Some of the words and phrases that ACT is using, they don’t make since to me at all… Every time I do practice, I always feel I could at least get 32 above, but it’s already two weeks my score is still either 27 or 28. I went back and discovered that I am not making any arithmetic mistake, in fact I am sloving somthing else. What should I do??? Can somebody help me!!!
- Focus on improving your English/reading/writing. If you wish to attend a US university whose primary language of instruction is English, you are usually expected to be fluent.
- SAT/ACT math questions can appear to be worded strangely, but in fact they are (or should be) worded completely unambiguously. If you interpret the questions exactly as written, you will be fine.
